Obituary of Ethel Helen Hatfield

The death of Ethel Hatfield of Saint John, NB, wife of the late David J. Hatfield, formerly of Kingston, NB occurred at Loch Lomond Villa on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 88. She was born on February 18, 1921 at Milkish Creek, NB, to the late Joseph and Mary Agnes (Cameron) Hall. Ethel was a member of Trinity Anglican Church of Kingston, Peninsula Pearls Senior Citizens Club and Kingston Friendly Fellowship Club Ethel is survived by one son, Larry (Joanne) of Kingston, NB; one daughter, Donna (David) MacKay of Hunter Lake, NB; one brother, Norman Hall of Quispamsis, NB; three sisters: Grace Bostwick of Kingston, NB, Josie Cairney of Durham, ON and Evelyn Burhoe of Saint John, NB; sister in law, Elta Hall of Salisbury, NB; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Ethel was predeceased four sisters: Hazel Lindsay, Vira Buckley, Doris Waddell and Alice Beaver and one brother, William Hall. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm . The funeral service will be held from the Trinity Anglican Church in Clifton Royal, NB, on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Trinity Anglican Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of the donor’s choice.
