Obituary of Horst Ferdinand Kramer

Kramer, Horst Ferdinand – The death of Horst F. Kramer of Rothesay, NB, husband of Romaine (Saunders) Kramer, occurred on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Olga (Friske) Kramer. Horst had been employed as a millwright with Local # 2262. Horst enjoyed his gardening and grew many kinds of fruit, including grapes, plums, cherries, apples and berries; he dedicated many hours as a volunteer with the Fairvale Outing Association; but his greatest love was his wife and his three daughters, Nadine of Kingston, NB, Gina (Tony) and Elizabeth, both of Rothesay; and his three grandchildren, Corissa, Kristin and Kyle; all who will miss him greatly. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 2:30 pm. Remembrances made to the Red Cross (HELP Program) or the KV Extra Mural Program would be appreciated by the family.
