Obituary of Hazel Mae Tonge

The death of Hazel Tonge of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Allen Tonge, occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Hibernia, NB on May 24, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Seth and Celia (Rathburn) Delong. Survived by her three sons, Austin of Maces Bay, NB, Raymond (Dianne) of Quispamsis, NB and Frank ( Bonnie) of Mission, BC; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, Roy Delong and one sister, Clair Blanche. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. At Hazel’s request there will not be any visiting at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 10 am. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
