Obituary of Donna Jean Kennie

By accident the death of Donna Kennie, of Saint John occurred on Saturday, August 1, 2009. She was born on April 5, 1949 at Saint John to the late Garnett and Betty (Sweet) Mills. Donna worked for the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation for over 16 years. She was a member and treasurer of CUPE Local 813. Donna loved her family, especially family outings and camping. She is survived by her three children: Scott Kennie (Natalie) of Fredericton, NB, Cindy Deveau (Stephen) of St. Martins, NB and Lisa Kennie (Reyale) of Salt Springs, NB; their father, Roger Kennie; two sisters: Janie Vautour (Lionel) and Bev Verner (John) both of Saint John; six grandchildren: Jordan, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Austin, Joshua and Lucas and several nieces and nephews. Donna’s family invite everyone to celebrate her life with them on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances to MADD Canada would be appreciated by the family.
