Obituary of Kenneth H. Stevens

The death of Kenneth Stevens of Saint John, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the age of 72. He was born on May 14, 1937 at Fairville, NB, to the late John and Hazel (Williamson) Stevens. Kenneth was employed with Civic Hydro and retired after 30 years of service. Kenneth is survived by one son, Paul (Tanya) of Rothesay; two daughters: Lori Stevens (Travis), Saint John, NB and Terri Stevens (Thane), Clyde River, PE; one grandson, Macullam Stevens; two sisters: Edna Kindred of the Kingston Peninsula, NB and Eva Stevens of Saint John, NB; four brothers: Jack, Murray and Fred of Saint John, NB and Donald of Sussex, NB and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by a brother Ronald and sister Shirley Kincade. At Kenneth’s request, there will be no traditional visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). For those who wish remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
