Obituary of Barry Shawn Robson

Barry S. Robson of Saint John, after a lengthy illness, died in hospital on Saturday, September 13, 2008. Born on May 26, 1948, he was the son of Frank and Neva (Riley) Robson. Barry retired from Rothesay Paper after 35 years. He was an active member of the Elks Club, the CPWU Local 601, the Grand Bay Legion, and ran for the N.D.P. He enjoyed his karaoke, poker, and hockey games, and the good times with special friends. Barry is survived by his partner and long-time sweet-heart, Faye Mills; his daughter, Sheri Archibald and her husband Bruce, and five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Nathan, Simon, and Tobias; two brothers, Jeff and Thane; one sister, Leslie Tracy; a nephew and niece, Joe and Tara Tracy. He was predeceased by a son, Steven. A celebration will be held in Barry’s honour on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 8:00 PM at the Grand Bay Legion. For those who wish, remembrances to the Grand Bay Legion, Branch 22 Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
