Obituary of Helen Josephine Boone

Boone, Helen Josephine … The death of Helen Josephine Boone RN of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Edgar Walter “Ted” Boone, occurred on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on March 27, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Francis J. and Margaret (Carson) Swain. Survived by her children, Mark (Valerie) Boone of St. John’s NL, Anne (Hank) VanDuinen of Kingston, ON and David (Heather) Boone of Mechanic Lake, NB; three sisters, Katherine Powell and Peggy Brown, both of Saint John and Fran Urquhart of Halifax, NS; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, parents and a brother Ted. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 11:30 am. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
