Obituary of Jack R. Knox

After a courageous battle with cancer and with his family by his side, Jack Knox, age 53, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2008. He was born September 20, 1954 in Saint John, to Shirley (Raymond) Knox and the late Bill Knox. He worked for many years as a dispatcher for various trucking companies, as well as a computer technician. He loved music and playing his guitar. He will be sadly missed by his son Joseph Knox of Dieppe, his daughter Crystal (Gerry) Daigle of Moncton, his companion Starr Johnstone, and brother-in-law Lawrence Snider. He is also survived by his grandsons Devan Knox, and Connel and Alex Daigle, as well as his grandmother, niece and aunts and uncles.He is predeceased by his sister Carol Anne Snider, December 2007. A celebration of Jack's life will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, (111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424), on Friday, September 5, 2008, with visiting from 10am until the service at 11am. Reception to follow the service. Remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of the donor’s choice.
