Obituary of Robert Joseph Spencer

The death of Robert Joseph “Bob” Spencer of Saint John, NB occurred unexpectedly on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on March 25, 1942, he was a son of the late Wesley J. and Dorothy Spencer. Bob worked with Irving Paper Mill for several years. Survived by his sons, Chris Spencer of Barnesville, NB and Shaun Spencer of Ontario; brother, Douglas Spencer (Rose) of Saint John; sister, Rosanne Gionet (Joe) of French Village, NB as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home,, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from Ocean View Memorial Gardens at 11:15 AM. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
