Obituary of William John Michael Marshall
Surrounded by his family the death of Bill Marshall, husband of Rose Katherine Marshall (Forsythe) occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, October 17, 2011 after a period of failing health. He was born on January 21, 1950 in Hamilton, ON to the late William and Olga (Olinyk) Marshall. Bill worked in Sales at Leisure Time RV Centre for many years. He also owned and operated Belle Custom Windows. Bill was a huge hockey fan; coaching minor hockey and was a member of Leaf’s Nation. Besides his wife of 30 years Rose, Bill is survived by two sons: Bill Marshall (Chantina) and Scott Marshall (Leeanna) both of Saint John; daughter, Tonia Kirkpatrick (Jason) of Saint John; three grandchildren: Becca-Lynn, Gavin and Jake; two siblings: John Marshall (Deb) and Sandy Matsos (Sam) both of Ontario and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10 AM. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to The Give 2011 - Stem Cell Therapy (SJRH) would be appreciated by the family.
