Obituary of Harold Adam Noble

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Harold Adam Noble of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Doreen (Donovan) Noble, on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on December 7, 1934 he was a son of the late Alfred and Mary (Nason) Noble. Harold was employed with NB Tel for 36 ½ years, a former member of Waterloo Street Baptist Church, attended Forest Hills United Baptist Church, was a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of New Brunswick, Bell Aliant Pioneers, and the Saint John Gyro Club of 39 years. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting the City Market and working in his vegetable garden. He is survived by one son, James Noble (Beatrice) of New York; two daughters, Sandra Noble-d’Entremont (Greg) of Quispamsis, Jennifer Murray (Scott) of Saint John; one brother, Robert Noble of Moncton; sister-in-law, Marianne Donovan; six grandchildren who he treasured dearly, Hayley, Ashley and Julia Murray, Alexandra, Matthew and Benjamin d’Entremont; four nephews, Harold, Alex, Barry Nason and Bruce Noble. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by one sister, Colleen Noble and one nephew Paul Donovan. To honour the request of Harold there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 12 Noon. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, remembrances to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society or Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
