Obituary of Patricia Heather Higgins

With great sadness, the family of Pat Higgins wishes to announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 10, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Elizabeth (McKenna) Handy. Pat cherished her family and enjoyed playing darts in the Women’s Dart League. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey; sons, Donald and Cory; daughter-in-law Samantha (Martin Dalling); sisters: Laura Smith, Margaret McLaughlin, Marie McNabb, and Alice Rideout; grandchildren: Heather, Jeremy, Jeddie, Tad, Miguel, Hope, and Noah; ex-husband, Fred; and her partner, Rebecca Simon. Pat was predeceased by her parents and a grandson, Tristain. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 2 PM. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
