Obituary of Hazel Jean Gordon

The death of Hazel Jean Gordon, wife of the late George Bruce Gordon, occurred at the Loch Lomond Villa on Friday, May 13, 2011. Hazel was born on October 4, 1920 in Saint John to the late Ambrose G. and Rebecca A. (Thumith) Pelkey. Hazel was a loving wife and mother. She devoted her life to her family. Hazel and George both enjoyed many family gatherings at their cottage on Bradley Lake. She is survived by three sons: Robert (Freda), Allan (Linda) and Ronald (Anne) all of Saint John and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Hazel was predeceased by her brother Stewart, and sisters: Edith Jackson and Margaret Matheson. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with private family visitation. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
