Obituary of Alma Marie Richardson

Alma Marie (Arthurs) Richardson, wife of Linden Richardson, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on February 4, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Emma (Bean) Arthurs. Alma is survived by her children, Darren Arthurs of West Virginia, Janet Arthurs (Tim Bradford) of Saint John, Paul Arthurs (Tina) of Maugerville; Bryan Arthurs of Maine, Dean Feran (Pauline) of Saint John, Karol Moscufo of New Jersey, Anna Edwards (Michael) of New Jersey; a brother, Eugene Arthurs of Morrisdale; sisters Dorine McVane (Leo) of Rothesay and Ruth Langlais of Saint John; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Alma was predeceased by an infant son, James; a daughter, Barbara Ann McFate; her first husband, Arthur Cogswell, the father of her children; siblings June Perkins, Malcolm Arthurs, Maxine Gauthier, and infant sister Margaret. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
