Obituary of Ronald Byron Wooden

Ronald Wooden, son of the late Ronald and Shirley (Stewart) Wooden, passed away on Friday, September 02, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Woody worked for years as a cab driver, and spent his time playing video games, walking, watching UFC and boxing, and playing golf and other sports. Woody is survived by his sons, Jonathan Craig Cyr and Mike Cordeau; siblings, Shelly DeSilva (Michael), Donald Wooden (Greta), Ronda Steevens (late husband Leonard), Tammy Balemans (Ralph), Alan McLeod (Pam), and Shirlena Dubois; two grandchildren, one step-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his cat, Jasper. He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved dog, his "baby", Princess. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), visiting will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 2pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery the following day.
