Obituary of Raymond Gionet

The death of Raymond Gionet of Saint John, NB, occurred on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home. Born in Caraquet, NB on June 12, 1941, he was a son of the late Martin and Florence (Arseneau) Gionet. Raymond volunteered for the Romero House Soup Kitchen for many years. He is survived by his five brothers, Robert, Junior, Gabriel, Roger and Pee Wee Gionet; four sisters, Louise, Francine, Yvette and Naeela Gionet; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Bill and Patricia Savoy. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (506) 634-7424. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 7:00 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at a later date. For those who wish remembrances may be made to Romero House Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
