Obituary of Frederick Robert Hayman

The death of Fred Hayman, husband of Nancy (Burley) Hayman, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born on May 25, 1947 in Saint John to the late Frederick Sr. and Viola (Martin) Hayman. Fred worked for Saint John Shipbuilding for over 20 years and most recently for Source Atlantic for 5 years. He was avid bowler and was a member of the Pepsi Bowling League in his youth. Fred enjoyed long walks and driving with his wife Nancy. Besides his loving wife Nancy, Fred is survived by his daughter: Lisa Hayman of Saint John; two sons: Jeffrey of Calgary, AB and Tony of Saint John; grandson, Drake and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and three sisters: Delores, Joan and Diane. Fred was the last surviving member of the immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
