Obituary of Hazel Eleanor Weir

Hazel Eleanor Weir, formerly of Saint John, wife of the late Ronald S. Weir, passed away peacefully on Monday, 28 February 2011 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton, the day after her 96th birthday. Born at Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Albert George and Jennie (Kerr) Burger. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Hazel is survived by her son, Dr. Ronald Weir (Barbara) of Kingston, Ontario; grandchildren Dr. Michele Weir (Keith Kwan) and Dr. M. Lynn Weir; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, 715 Latimore Lake Road, Saint John. For those who wish, remembrances to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
