Obituary of Kenneth Leroy Crossman

The death of Kenneth Leroy Crossman of Saint John, NB, husband of Donna (Nolan) Crossman, occurred on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a battle with cancer with his family and friends by his side. Born in Saint John on August 15, 1940 he was a son of the late Leroy and Bertha (Garland) Crossman. Kenny was a longtime coach, trainer and volunteer of Baseball, Hockey and Lacrosse in the Saint John area. He also umpired baseball. Kenny was the voice of the Lord Beaverbrook Rink for many years doing hockey games and grand prix wrestling. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; four sons, David (Jocelyn) of Brampton, ON; Sean (Chelsea), Terry (Lindsay) and Gary all of Saint John; extended family, Tracey and Trina; five grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, Richard, Caiden and Griffin; several aunts, uncles, sister and brother-in-laws; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son, Richard "Dickie" and his sister, Marilyn Crossman. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 2-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 9:00 am. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to PRO Kids, Saint John on behalf of the Dickie Crossman Memorial Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
