Obituary of John Frederick Higgins

HIGGINS, John Frederick John Frederick Higgins of Saint John, husband of the late Ruth Higgins passed away on August 29th, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born at Gordon Parish, Victoria Co. on August 26, 1935, he was a son of the late James Wilbert and Nellie Hazel Higgins. John worked in the construction industry for many years. He is survived by his son Kevin (Rosaria) Higgins, daughter Kim Higgins, and grandchildren Daniel, Kalan, Emerson, Courtney, Felicity and Michael, as well as one brother, Willard (Jeanne) Higgins, and sister-in-law Gertrude Higgins. John was pre-deceased by his siblings Flora, Annie, Albert, Kathleen, Henry and Gordon. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) Although there is no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held on Thursday, September 8th at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Chapel.
