Obituary of Catherine Loretta Pitt

It is with great sadness the passing of Catherine "Kay" L. (Quigley) Pitt of Rothesay, NB, wife of Earle Pitt, occurred on Saturday, March 5, 2011. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late George and Emily (Biddiscombe) Quigley. Catherine is survived by one son, Christopher (Deborah) of Fredericton; two daughters, Mary Catherine Sollows (Kenneth) of Quispamsis, Elizabeth Pitt of Saint John; one brother, Louis of Riverview; one sister, Mary O’Keefe of Florenceville; four grandchildren, Jennifer, and Michael Pitt, David and John Sollows; one great grandson, Jacob Sollows; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one son, John, three sisters, Margaret Lundy, Rita Polchies and Anne Craig, one brother, Patrick Quigley. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Marks Church, Quispamsis on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
