Obituary of Daniel William Doyle

After a period of failing health at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Feb. 2, 2012 Daniel W. Doyle of Saint John East, husband of Mary-Ellen (Sherwood) Doyle. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Albert & Ann (Mazerolle) Doyle. Dan was a life long resident of the Saint John area and had been employed as a welder for many years at the Saint John Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company. Dan was an avid artist and loved to read. Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Matthew A. J. Doyle of Saint John East; two brothers, Robert Doyle (Donna) of Saint John West and Norman Doyle (Susan) of Saint John; one sister, Patricia Dollar (Charles) of Quispamsis; and one brother-in-law, Robert Carson of Millidgeville and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister, Kathleen (Kay) Carson in 2007. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday February 6, 2012 from Brenan’s Chapel at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
