Obituary of Beatrice Balloch Bustin

Her family spent the last few days at her side sharing the precious moments before the Lord took her home on Tuesday April 2, 2013. She was born August 19, 1927 in Stretford, England to the late Wilmot and Helen (Aldcroft) Main and was the wife of the late Stan Bustin. Bea loved her family and enjoyed hosting all the family gatherings. She was a wonderful cook, her chocolate chip cookies were a family favorite. Bea played bridge and quilted with her friends. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a member of St. James the Less Church. Bea loved the Lord and trusted him as her personal Saviour. Bea is survived by her children: Carolyn and her husband Dale Carson, Tom and his wife Bonnie, Bob and his wife Debbie, Joanne and her husband John Mason; ; her brothers: Charlie his wife Betty, and Wilmot and his wife, June; sister-in-law, Jean Main; her grandchildren: Angela, Cyndi, Michael, Katie, Megan, Daniel, Luke, Shelley, Nicole, Robert, Christopher and Melissa, her great grandchildren: Rylie, Haley, Cassidy, Courtney, David, Emma, Ally, Isabelle, Gunnar, Avery, Arlo, Jackson, Sophie and Mackenna and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Robert Main. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will take place from at St. James the Less Church, 1760 Rothesay Road on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to St. James the Less Outreach Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
