Obituary of Joan Isabel Kirkpatrick

Joan was born on April 12, 1934 to the late Michael and Christina (Grey) Sharkey. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Bobby’s Hospice. Joan is survived by her son Mike (Maryann) Kirkpatrick and grandson Lorne (Hillary). Joan loved the Blue Jays, Auction 45’s and Bingo. She was a gentle soul with a quiet strength. Special "Thanks" to the late Lorne (Marion) Speight, the girls at the centre, the late Verla (Hank) Hayes, the staff at Charlotte St. for 24 years and Albert (Myrtelle) Speight. And a special "Thanks" to the staff at Bobby’s for making mom’s last days bearable. Arrangements are in the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), There will be a private family service at a later date.
