Obituary of Elizabeth Frances Carroll

It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Frances "Queenie" Carroll, loving wife of the late Vincent P. Carroll, announces her passing, which occurred on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Truro, NS on June 11, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Christina (Dewar) Wooley and is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Queenie will be missed by her niece, Carol Ann Wooley-Smith of Three Fathom Harbour, NS. In addition to her parents and husband, Queenie was predeceased by a brother, Edward Wooley. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Monday, January 1, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo St. Saint John on Tuesday, January 2, 2017 at 12:10 pm. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice.
