Obituary of Kevin Elliot Powe

It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Powe announce his passing which occurred on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his residence. Born on September 24, 1952, Kevin was a son to Audrey (Leyden) and the late Gordon Powe. Kevin worked as a Construction Electrician and had been a member of the IBEW local 502 since March 1, 1977. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved nature and the outdoors. As a child, he summered on the Kingston Peninsula where he permanently made his home in the early 70’s. Kevin leaves behind his loving mother, his brothers: Gary (Pauline) and Brian (Karen): his niece and nephews: Keith, Scott, Ryan, Sean and Erin, and great niece and nephews: Brandon, Alex, Sarah, Henry and William. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Gordon. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Friday, November 25 from 12-2 in Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2 PM. Following cremation, interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Ducks Unlimited Canada.
