Obituary of Lorne Arthur Guthrie

It is with great sadness the family of Lorne Arthur Guthrie announce his passing, which occurred on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 20, 1928 he was a son of the late Roland and Elizabeth (Daley) Guthrie. Lorne is survived by his sisters in law Mary and Marg Guthrie; nephews Leo, Paul and Kevin (Patti Verney) Guthrie; and nieces Linda and Karen (Norman Benjamin) Guthrie. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Glendon, Clifford, Bill and Leamon Guthrie; and sisters Louise and Lois Guthrie. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Keeping with Lorne’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
