Obituary of James Ian Burhoe

Burhoe, James Ian- It is with heavy hearts that the family of J. Ian Burhoe, loving husband to Pamela (Pursey) Burhoe, announces his passing which occurred on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 14, 1954, Ian was the only son of the late Knight and Evelyn (Merritt) Burhoe. Ian will be missed by his surviving family, his wife of 35 years, Pam, their children: Andrew Burhoe (Darnell Karras), David Burhoe (Brandee Dixon) and Amy Burhoe (Jason Briscoe), his grandchildren: Elise and Ashlynn Burhoe, his siblings: Grace Smith and Lynne(Charlie) McIntyre, mother-in-law: Alice Pursey, sisters-in-law: Pauline Anne (Kevin) Estey and Sharon Pursey, brothers-in-law: Rob (Dee) Pursey and James (Tina) Pursey along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ian was predeceased by his father-in-law: Bob Pursey and brothers-in-law: Phillip and Mark Pursey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). There will be no service or internment at this time.
