Obituary of Marion Blanche Thompson

The family of Marion Blanche (nee Day) Thompson announces her passing, which occurred on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Kings Way Care Centre. Born on October 17, 1924 in New Jerusalem, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Stella (Beckett) Day. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband R. Michael Thompson. Marion is survived by her daughters, Heather Cunningham (Paul) and June Albert (Steve); son, Kevin Thompson (Kathy); as well as grandchildren, Katelyn of Indiana, Sarah of Missouri and Michael of Vancouver. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Kings Way Care Centre for their excellent and compassionate long-term care of Marion. A private family interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
