Obituary of David Angus Jones

With appreciation for a life well-lived, the family of David A. Jones announces his passing, which occurred on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 29, 1946, he was the only child of the late Angus and Doris (Woodley) Jones. David will be missed by his spouse, Heather Gray; special cousins, Tom Jones (Lindy) and Carl Woodley (Carol); Aunt Bea Jones (the late Stanley); special friends, Dr. Jack Steeves (Eva) of Skowhegan, Me; as well as many Jones and Woodley cousins and all those whose lives he touched in his lifetime. Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). An open house style Celebration of David’s life will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 1-4 pm at Brenan’s Funeral Home. Private interment will take place at Welsford Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, NB Heart Centre or SPCA-Animal Rescue would be appreciated.
