Obituary of Arthur Joseph LeBlanc

The death of Arthur LeBlanc of Saint John, cherished husband of Betty (Pelletier) LeBlanc occurred on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 19, 1953 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Arthur and Jean (White) LeBlanc. Prior to his retirement, Arthur worked as a driver and dispatcher for Saint John Transit. He always treasured the times spent with those he loved and especially enjoyed the times with his grandchildren. Arthur loved fishing and always looked forward to Saturday morning breakfast with the boys at TOPS. In addition to his wife, Betty, Arthur is also survived by their children, Tracy Cook (Brian), Tanya Johnson (Tyson Henderson) and Gordon Johnson (Kelly) all of Saint John; sister, Denise Bettle of Hampton; brother, Steven LeBlanc (Cindy) of Saint John; special grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Austin, Markus, Brydan and Finn; two precious great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Peggy LeBlanc of Saint John; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Paul and Brian. Although there will be no funeral service, relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation, which will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
