He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of New Brunswick, and expressed his love of music by drumming with the Caledonia Pipe Band. His passion in life was his family; he was foremost a husband, Dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his devoted wife, Maureen, Kenneth is survived by their children: Kenneth (Cheryl), Pamela DeCourcey-Britton (Doug), Stephen (Sharon), Kevin (Heather), and David (Monique); grandchildren: Meghan and Andrew, Kelly and Ryan, Aaron and Taylor, Alex, Adam, James and Neil, Michael and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren: Beau and Capri; sisters: Christina Crawford, Joan Bradford, and Marion Whelan; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Charles; and his sisters: Claire and Kay. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Kenneth’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will be a private celebration of Ken’s life at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, CNIB, or a charity of the donor’s choice and may be placed at www.brenansfh.com.
