Obituary of Paulette Francine Collrin

Collrin, Paulette Francine- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paulette Collrin announces her passing which occurred on Monday, February 13 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 29, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Leah (Ekstrom) Morrell. Paulette had a love for animals. She often volunteered her time collecting funds for the SPCA- Animal Rescue. She also raised money for the NB Kidney Foundation. Paulette is survived by her children: Russell Collrin (Shelly), Glenn (Tamala) Collrin and Jason Collrin, her 8 grandchildren; Russell Collrin Jr, Sara Donnelly-Collrin, Rianna Collrin, Leah Collrin, Avery Collrin, Angel Collrin, Grace Collrin, Aislinn Collrin-Wedge, her brothers: Lawrence (Bonnie) Morrell and Jack (Maggie) Morrell along with several nieces, nephews and members of her extended family. Besides her parents, Paulette was predeceased by her husband Louis Collrin, twin sons Peter and Paul Collrin and siblings: Evelyn Smith and Roy Morrell. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John where visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18 starting at 11am followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm at Brenan’s Chapel with interment to follow at a later date at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. No Flowers by Paulette’s request, however, for those who wish, remembrances may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the Kidney Foundation.
