Obituary of Brian Harold Drost

It is with great sadness the family of Brian Harold Drost announce his passing, which occurred on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous six month battle with brain cancer. Brian was born in Chipman, NB on August 21, 1958 to Thelma Cusack and the late Kenneth Drost. Brian was an incredibly special man. He was loving, caring and supportive of his family and many friends. He had strength, willpower and a heart of gold. He was also very artistic and extremely talented. Brian is survived by his mother Thelma Cusack; son Bryan Drost (Jennifer Wade); siblings Wayne, Bill and Karen Drost, Debbie Hayward, Eddie and Allen Vaughan; granddaughter Daneka Drost; and special brothers Pete and Jeff. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 3-8 PM. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Cornhill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Brian may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
