Obituary of Phyllis Blanche Gallop

The family of Phyllis Blanche Gallop would like to announce that she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born March 21, 1935 in Saint John, and was a daughter of the late Reginald and Gladys (Fisher) Cosman. Phyllis enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family. She was certainly a people person and was always the first one to offer a warm drink, sweets and a listening ear to everyone, often putting others needs before her own, until the end. Her compassion and accepting personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Phyllis is survived by her son, Reginald E. Wilson (Gail); daughters: Barbara Beaudry and Charlotte Bausman; grandchildren; David, Carol (Art), Ronald, Chandra (Smily), Chelsea, Ken and Lee; great grandchildren: Malachi, Amelie and Ameya; brother, Donald Cosman (Marie); sister, Vivian Porter (Jim); sister-in-law, Norma Cosman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Besides her parents Phyllis was predeceased by her first husband Murray Wilson and her second husband Daryl Gallop and brother Douglas Cosman. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 2–4 and 6 – 8 pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 12 Noon, from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Garden. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
