Obituary of Donald Martin McEachern

It is with heavy hearts the family of Donald "Don" Martin McEachern, loving husband of Shelly (McDougall) McEachern, announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, March 24, 2017. Born on June 15, 1959 he was a son of Sandra (Spears) McEachern and the late Donald McEachern. Don was an avid sports fan. He loved watching sports, especially baseball and football, his favourite team being the Patriots. He volunteered with Saint John Minor Hockey and Ball Hockey leagues. He worked for Willett’s for many years. In later years, he worked for Irving Oil in convenience stores. In addition to his devoted wife Shelly and mother, Don is survived by his son Dallas McEachern (Maryse) of Dieppe, sister Kathy Brown of Quispamsis, two nieces Jennifer and Jessica Brown, and his loving cat Carly. He was predeceased by his father Donald McEachern. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Don may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
