Obituary of Johanna Bailey

The death of Mrs. Johanna (Jansen) Bailey, wife of the late Kingsley Bailey, occurred on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland on January 28, 1922, was a daughter to the late George and Johanna (Schaaf) Jansen. Johanna is survived by her son G. Kingsley (King) Bailey and his wife Karen, her grandchildren: Scott, Mark, Alison, Katrina and Nicholas, her great grandchildren: Teagan, Owen, Alivia and Annabel, her sister Charlotte Mersereau, sister-in-law Hilda Jansen along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Johanna was predeceased by her siblings, George Jansen and Agnes olde Damink. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) By the request of Johanna, there will be no visiting or funeral service.
