Obituary of Alfreda Ellen Craft

The family of Kitty Craft announce her passing on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born February 11, 1941 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late William Leroy and Gertrude (Irvine) Craft. Kitty loved sewing, and was very talented at making porcelain dolls. She loved volunteering with the AIDS Society. Kitty is survived by her brother, Terry Craft (Judy Snow); children: Étoile "Star" LeBlanc of New York City, Christopher LeBlanc (Alison) of Shelburne, Ontario, and Kevin LeBlanc (Heather) of Toronto, ON; grandchildren: Leane Baldwin, Jeanette LeBlanc, Katie Craft and Andy Craft; great-grandchildren: Lilly Baldwin, Isabelle Baldwin, Deserai LeBlanc, Kendall, Marley, Mia and Xander; and niece, Marlaine Craft of Maces Bay. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, William "Billie" Craft. The family would like to thank the staff of the GEM Unit on the 5th floor of St. Joseph’s Hospital for their wonderful care of their mother. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11 am from Trinity Anglican Church, Maces Bay. Remembrances to St. Joseph’s Hospital- GEM Unit would be appreciated by the family.
