Obituary of Raymond Joseph Roy

It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Roy, announce his unexpected passing, which occurred on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at home. Born on June 13, 1944 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Victor and Yvonne (Theriault) Roy. Raymond was a fan of music and loved ice fishing. He is survived by his sons: Raymond, Richard and Brian; daughters: Yvette, Lynn and Connie; step children: Loretta, Ronnie, Donnie and Darryl; 3 grandchildren; sister, Marjorie; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and members of his extended family. In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by his girlfriend Gladys Davis and brothers: Jeremy and Wallace Roy. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 from The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB at 12:10 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the Donor’s Choice.
