Obituary of Eleanor Joan Young

The death of Eleanor Joan (Ellie) (Prosser) Young, of Quail Court, occurred on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Petitcodiac, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Alice (Lutes) Prosser. Ellie was employed at Kennebec Manor as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. She is survived by five sons, Andy (Suzanne) of Toronto; Peter (Laurie) of Toronto; David (Dowdee) of Dartmouth; John (Brenda) of Saint John; Danny (Shelly) of Manitoba; one daughter, Ayjai Young of Halifax; two brothers, Ivan (Linda) Prosser of Petitcodiac; Wayne (Joan) Prosser of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters, Shirley Prosser and Judy Seely both of Petitcodiac; two grandchildren Catherine and Jessica, several nieces and nephews. By request there will be private family visiting. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 2:00 pm from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Interment will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Brain Injury Association of New Brunswick Inc., 527 Beaverbrook Court, Suite 148, Fredericton, NB, E3B 1X6.
