It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Frances Hall. Born November 1, 1916 on the Long Reach she was the daughter of Nellie Mae (Nagle) and Francis R. Roden. Upon moving to saint John she attended Saint John High School and was among the first class of graduates from the new location on Duke Street. She worked at the Golden Ball Garage and Canada Permanent. During the sixties she and her husband operated Western Tire on Union Street. In 1971 she joined Saint John Toyota as office manager where she remained until her retirement. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years C. Richard 'Dick' Hall, several nieces and nephews and extended family Sharron and David Nicholson and their children Marc, Elaine and Mike. Anne was predeceased by her sisters Kathleen (Tat) Lawson and Marjorie (Bardie) MacDonald. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the Dialysis Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital who have cared so compassionately for Anne during the past 8 years. We also wish to thank the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital and a special thanks to her niece Sandy MacDonald-Dixon for her care and comfort. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), visiting will be held on Monday from 7-9 PM.
