Obituary of Rena Mary Saulnier

Saulnier, Rena Mary The death of Rena Mary Saulnier, wife of the late David Saulnier and special and best friend of Joseph Parisien, occurred on May 31, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Louis and Elma D. (Power) LeBlanc. She enjoyed knitting and playing Bingo at the Lake. She took great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her best friend Joseph she is survived by her sons Michael (Anna) of Penfield, NB, David (Lydia) of British Columbia, Paul of Saint John, Carl (Linda) of Garnett Settlement, Ralph (Donna) of Nova Scotia, Bruce of British Columbia, her daughter Sandra Holst (Per) of Denmark, her brothers Raymond LeBlanc (Charlotte) of Saint John, LeRoy LeBlanc (Guy Fournier) of Montreal, Charles LeBlanc (Shirley) of Toronto, her sisters Doris Saulnier of Greenwich, NB, Geraldine McDonald of Prince of Wales, NB, her 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Susan Crandall, her brothers Peter and Gerald LeBlanc and her sister Marjorie Brideau. Following cremation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), visiting will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 3, 2005, at 11:00 am, from Stella Maris Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances made to the Saint John Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
