Obituary of Lyla Lillian Estey

The death of Lyla Lillian Estey of MacLean's Special Care Home, Saint John, occurred on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Durham Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Stella (McConnell) Estey. Miss Estey was a Stock Room Clerk at Zellers for many years before her retirement. She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion #40, Fredericton and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by two nieces, Hazel McMann and Alta Wilson both of Saint John. She was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence, Claire and Roy Estey and sister, Greta McMann. Resting at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton (458-9170), with visiting on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 from 12:00-2:00 PM. Funeral service will follow in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment in the Centennial United Church Cemetery, Nashwaak Village. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
