Obituary of Peggy Elizabeth Oram

The death of Peggy Elizabeth Oram, wife of the late William Oram, occurred of November 14, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Sussex, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie Friars. She was employed in the Packaging Department of Red Rose Tea before her retirement. She was a member of the Stephenson Towers Social Club and enjoyed her many penpals from around the World. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Porter of Saint John, her grandchildren Susan Eadle (Douglas), Billy Porter (Doreen), Jane Carson, Sharon Lomax (Bradley), Margo McVicar and her 7 great-grandchildren. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 1:00 PM, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
