Obituary of Frieda Louise Sherwood

Sherwood, Frieda Louise The death of Frieda Louise Sherwood, wife of the late Lloyd Alfred Sherwood, occurred peacefully on June 9, 2005, at the Kennebec Manor. Born in Carsonville, Kings Co., NB, she was the daughter of the late Hanford Frederick and Gertrude Gladys (Cook) McEwen. She is survived by her son Wayne A. Sherwood and his wife Mary Lynn of the Kingston Peninsula, daughters Carol Mosher and her husband Raymond of Quispamsis, Betty French and her husband Raymond of St. Thomas, ON, brother Harris McEwen and his wife Kay of Carsonville, NB, sisters Laura Marjorie Jones and Gertrude Edris Keys, both of Sussex, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her son Walter Sherwood, daughters Shirley Ella Sherwood and Marlene Evelyn Johnstone, sister Greta McEwen and brother Eric Hanford McEwen predeceased her. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2005, at 2:15 pm, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
