Obituary of William Ralph Eveleigh

The death of William (Bill) R. Eveleigh of Saint John, NB, occurred in the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 24, 2004, surrounded by his family. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Wilkins) Eveleigh. Bill was employed in the grocery business for over 30 years in the Saint John area. He was a kind quiet person who loved his family and pets, was always quick to lend a hand and was generous to all. Bill will be sadly missed by all who knew him well. Bill is survived by one brother Robert Eveleigh (Susan), Saint John, three sisters Denise Heath (James), Cathy Eveleigh and Jackie Eveleigh all of Saint John, NB, one uncle Everett (Bud) Eveleigh, one aunt Grace Eveleigh, also several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by one uncle Nelson Eveleigh and one aunt Evelyn Eveleigh. Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) in charge of arrangements. Following cremation there will be a memorial service held in Sussex Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB, E2E 5L6 (506-433-2133) on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 11:00 AM, interment to follow in Kirk Hill Cemetery, Sussex, NB. Donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital or the Cancer Society.
