Obituary of June Frances Capson

The death of June Frances Capson of 187 Westmorland Road, Saint John, wife of Arthur Capson, occurred unexpectedly on Friday, April 22, 2005 at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Alice (Orr) Van Wart. Mrs. Capson was a lifelong square dancer and enjoyed dancing with her husband with the Bows and Belles, the Ties and Frills and the Hampton Hoe Downers Square Dancing Clubs. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Dr. David Capson and his wife Kim and their daughter Angela of Ancaster, ON, one daughter, Judy MacKinnon and her husband Owen and their children, Carlin, Devin, Quinn and Katrina of Rothesay, three sisters, Jessie Capson of Saint John, Anne Slipp of Hampstead and Louise Belyea of Port Hastings, NS, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Carole Buckley. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Spina Bifida Association or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
