Obituary of Nancy Jean Steeves

The death of Nancy Jean Steeves of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late Herbert Charles Steeves, formerly of Wabush, Labrador, occurred on Saturday, January 1, 2005 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Nursing Home in Hampton, NB. Born in Moncton, NB the daughter of Albert J. and Rita M. (Weir) Humphrey. Survived by three sons, Boyd “Bud” (Lorraine) Steeves of Wabush, Labrador, Andrew Steeves of Ottawa, ON and Barry (Emma) Geldart of Saint John, NB; two daughters Mary Susan “Sam” Bourbonnais of Hampton and Nancy Lynn Steeves of Clyde River, Nunavut; one brother, Ted (Myrtle) Humphrey of Tatamagouche, NS; five grandchildren, Paul Steeves, Tara-Lee and Robert Bourbonnais, Corey and Kyle Geldart; and one great-grandson, Cameron Bourbonnais. Predeceased by her husband, Herb; and two brothers, John and Boyd Humphrey. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. There will not be any visiting or funeral service. Following cremation interment will take place in Wabush, Labrador.
