Obituary of John C. Schmidt

After a brief illness the death of John Christian Schmidt age 59, of Prince William Street, occurred on May 13, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Karl Milbury Schmidt and Gertrude Louise (Kinnear) Schmidt. He is survived by his former wife and friend Jean Schmidt, one son Daniel Watson Schmidt, two daughters Jennifer June Schmidt and Julia Marie Caird Schmidt, two grandchildren Jessica Lacey Lynn Schmidt and Randi Joan Alexandra Schmidt all of London, Ontario. In his younger years John was employed as a draughtsman and for the past several years drove for Diamond Taxi. By request there will be no funeral home visiting. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
