Obituary of Mildred J. Grierson

The death of Mildred Jane Grierson, age 54, of 84 Taylor Avenue, Saint John, NB occurred suddenly on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she spent many years in Bains Corner before moving back to Saint John. She was a Special Olympics Athlete, enjoying floor hockey, softball and bowling. She is survived by one brother, Kenneth of Sussex, NB and special friends, Brian Smith and Rosemary Dean. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005 from Brenan's Chapel at 11 am. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Fundy Special Olympics c/o 15 Strathorne Ave., Saint John, NB E2J 4Z4 or a charity of the donor's choice.
